The Perfect Pizza Tray! No more soggy pizza with Pizza Pleezers...
« on: September 20, 2008, 10:47:50 AM »
Thank you to everyone who has visited FGpizza.com.  We are adding new items all the time and wanted to let you know that we have added 5 sizes of Pizza Pleezers to our site

Pizza Pleezers are unique plastic pizza servers have side ridges and novel bottom elevators that keep pizzas "high and dry". They are nestable, virtually unbreakable, and good for any crust thickness.

Your precious crust will not be affected by any moisture or grease from the toppings... because the pizza is elevated from the bottom of the tray.

Our site for FG pizza & Italian is:   http://www.fgpizza.com/

Thanks for your time.

So I really dislike most single-use products like this, but I've got to admit this one intrigued me, especially for sogginess due to trapped moisture. Can you use a rolling blade to cut slices in the pan without damaging it?  I guess this assumes the bumps don't get in the way of the blade.

I was thinking about buying a couple of these since I have been serving my pizzas on stoneware serving platters and they DO lose the crispness that I have tried so hard to achieve... so I am also interested in the ability to cut the slices on the tray.

Bill, it says on Frankie G's website that the trays are dishwasher safe, so I'm guessing they are not single-use... and therefore might intrigue you even more!   ;)

sd,

Perhaps I should have said "single-purpose". I prefer to buy things for my kitchen that I can use for many tasks. That is what I meant.

I never thought of cuttin in the trays... but the bumps are in a straight line.... I'll bet one could make it happen.

I do get the "more than one use thing" ... although when I spend two days making pizza dough.... it sure is nice to serve on these trays.

We are carrying traditional pizza pans as well... all profits help a young girl get an education.
