Well, my brohter-in-law, knowing that I like making pizza, decided to send me a Presto Pizzazz Pizza Oven for Christmas, which just arrived today. I tried it out tonight.
Review: it cooks pizza.
Seriously. It works fine....I tested it out by grabbing a pre-made 12" disk of pizza dough from the store, then put sauce and cheese on it. Placed the pizza on the oven, watched it rotate its way around for 11 minutes, pizza was fully cooked at that time, as the instruction manual predicted.
I guess I just don't see the real need for such a device. In other words, it doesn't seem to cook any "better" than a normal oven. I guess it's nice not having to pre-heat the Pizzazz oven, but that's about the only real advantage I can see.
I suppose I'm also a little biased because I prefer making 16" or 17" pizzas. This will only go up to around 12" or 13".
Ah well. It's not a piece of junk as far as I can see...it's just that there's limited use for it from my perspective.
