http://www.amazon.com/Raytek-MT6-MiniTemp-Infrared-Thermometer/dp/B000O80B5M/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1225423661&sr=8-12
Works great, no complaints.

I just picked up a digital thermometer at Harbor Freight. It is a Cen-Tech brand, item # 96451. It measures up to 968 deg. F/ 520 deg C. On sale now for $39.95. It is supposed to have 2% accuracy. Time will tell.

I just compared it to the $140.00 Fluke I have at work. It follows +- 2 deg. at 150 deg. F. I will try it on the stone in my oven next time I make a pizza.
