I was there yesterday (Mar. 2) and was surprised at how tiny the pizza show was.  I attended the stand-alone NYC pizza show a few years ago, which was about 10 times the size of this year's version. 

Overall the Restaurant/Food Service show was enjoyable and interesting though.  I was glad to see Esposito's of NYC has expanded their operation to distribute their high-quality sausage.  The Japan pavilion was quite interesting (shrimp sheet!!).  Watching the dough-stretch competition for the US Pizza Team was also cool.

But the "Pizza Show" was barely there.

I was bummed I could not make it. I had another personal commitment, then the snow, and oh yeah work somewhere in there too! Any body else go??

Not the same for you east-coasters I know, but I drove the 400 miles to take in my first pizza "show" at the NAPICS in Columbus a week ago.  VERY much worth my drive.  Nice sized show, good number of vendors, and the time spent with Tom Lehmann and Jeff Zeak at the "Interactive Kitchen" was more than worth the entry fee!

I went to the Restaurant show and Pizza Expo.  Since I am new to pizza making, I thought I would see more, too.  I really enjoyed the restaurant show.
