Digital scale recommendations

The question of digital scales comes up very often on the forum. Since each person's budget and needs varies considerably, not only with respect to pizza making but other kitchen applications, it is a good idea to look at other threads on the subject. They are usually posted under the Prep Equipment board on the forum.

The KD8000 from Myweigh is also what I purchased.
The only drawback, and I knew it going into the purchase,
is that it doesn't do tenths of a gram.  You can do some
tricking of the scale to get +/- .2grams if you can get a true
100 gram weight.  There is a link to how to do this in a thread about
this scale.  Otherwise, I like this scale very much.  Made my prep of dough
100% easier and more uniformed.

This is true.  I also knew that going in & at the same time I purchased a 400-z (also a fantastic little scale) for measurements that require an accuracy of .1g.

I just purchased an Ohaus Scout Pro SP 4001 from Old Will Knott Scales. http://www.oldwillknottscales.com/ohaus-scout-sp4001.aspx

It has 0.1 gram accuracy and has a maximum weight of 4 kg which covers everything I need in the kitchen. It is very accurate and even does baker percentages.

I know it is expensive, but if you really want a good scale that is accurate enough to do anything, I can reccomend this scale.

I have the Escali in reply #4 great ,simple, cheap scale/
Only goes in 1 Gram increments, as do most posted here. need another smaller  for .9 or less
