Caputo flour in Chicago
« on: November 04, 2010, 12:38:47 PM »
Any Chicago residents or otherwise know of a source for Caputo flour in Chicago?  Preferably north suburbs or near north suburbs.  Anyone know of any italian specialty stores that might carry it?

There's also a Caputo's market near Elgin.

Another place that sells it is

Produce World
8325 West Lawrence Avenue
Norridge, IL 60706-3129

You need to look really well though.

Another place where you can get great pricing for a 55lb bag is Greco and Sons...

Chad,

You might want to check out Tenuta's Deli in Kenosha, its a quick trip if you live up north.

They have a super selection, We live near Gurnee and go there at least twice a month.

There is also a (Joe) Caputo's on Rand Road in Palatine.

I know this is an older thread, but this topic is spot on for me.  Except that I live in Indiana and would be interested in hearing of any sources for Caputo pizzeria flour (55lb bag) that are not in the northern area or suburbs.  Anywhere south or central would be better for me, but I'll go north to Greco if need be.  Thanks!
