relatively Quick, mortarless, low budget simple oven like this one... help?

Thanks for the info!  I just tore down my cob oven - it was fun, but took way too long to heat up.  It was also in need of maintenance.  I am thinking of replacing it with something like this until my budget allows a "real" one.

I though making this design a little larger would be great for a semi-temporary installation. It would be easy enough to disassemble if you decided to build something different and would last a long time with occasional use. The arches shouldn't be too difficult if you use a form with shims.

very interesting, but I would be a little leery of not using mortar to lock everything in place...or am I missing something here?
