That great biscuit crust and a few cross sections  ;D
The darker Spots are a 1/4 I did with pepperoni for a taste tester crisped up nicely

Hi ,
I am a newbie, that is trying to build my pizza making skills because we are moving from Chicago to SW Michigan. Lou Malnattis is my husband's favorite (along with Old World Pizza in Elmwood Park).. but thought i would start with Lou's. Ive tried to make deep dish a few times (before joining this forum) with bad results  , but would love to try this recipe.. however the quantities in the crust baffle me, as I do not have a precise scale.. Could you translate to cup/teaspoon type measurements???
Thanks

John, I don't know how I missed this thread. Just wanted to tell you that your pie looks amazing. I also love how you always stage your pics with the wine bottle in the background. Keep 'em coming, John ;D.

Thank you for the kind words Z
As for the wine the first time was a fluke just where it was, and someone commented on it, and I though it did look cool that was the Clous du Bois shot shown here http://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php/topic,6480.msg64788.html#msg64788  I never even saw it there I was so excited about my first deep dish BTB, but yes now I share the vintage that is paired with that particular pizza,  or whatever someone is kind enought to exchange for a slice  :P
I'll try to keep it to pizza only but I do love grapes, and hops too!!!
