Cutting a cordierite stone??
« on: May 15, 2009, 03:39:26 PM »
I'm new at this game. Made a few pies in my house oven, but want to bake in my Primo grill (Jr oval model.) Because of its oval shape I need a stone that's about 10.5" X 16". I can find a 10X20 cordierLITE stone at Sheffield Pottery, but they won't make any cuts.

Anyone got any experience in what I'd need to cut the stone???
THX

I took it to my local countertop guy.  Anyone installing granite coutertops can cut that for you in about 1 minute.   I insisted on giving my guy 20 bucks, but he wouldn't let me.

Good luck!
