Just wanted to share a little pizza with the board
« on: February 22, 2005, 01:16:06 AM »
2 years ago when I first found this board my pizzas were in need of help. A few things that have given me good results.
getting high gluten pizza flour
and getting propper mixing instructions from some of the old timers on this board.
Thanks!!!

Samm,

that pie looks great !! - it's only 8:18 am here in Canada, snow is falling, and now I'm thinking of a nice slice
of that pie with a hot coffee... dang.....

gotta make pizza for dinner tonight.

Great shot, thanks for sharing !

Samm,
Nice results. Looks like you had plenty of heat at your disposal with that puffy rim and charred bubble here and there. Did you utilize Pete-zza's modified Lehmann recipe or another?

Yes I cooked this one myself. I have an old 1948 Okeffe and merit stove. The oven is rated at 20,000 BTU's. The oven is built like a tank. I can get up to 600F, but I cook at 550F useing a pizza stone. Also sugar in the dough helps brown the crust.
