Curious what happened. I made one outdoor session this summer, as was busy with other stuff, and it was fine, but only because baking inside was too hot...I tend to leave pies on grill too long. Not a big char fan and prefer cheese softer.

Couple friends built huge spendy ovens, pies are fine, but question the expense and time involved to do same thing.
