Chocolate Calzone

Earlier this year, I came up with a chocolate calzone, using a filling of ricotta cheese and chocolate chips.  I brushed the dough with a lot of butter (before and after baking) and served with powdered sugar, chocolate chips and chocolate syrup.

Yum!  I need to try this.  Did you sweeten up the ricotta, besides the chips?

I did a NY style skin, pre-baked with several types of choco chips and shaved chocolate with Nutella drizzeled on top. 

Yeah, good pizza crust and chocolate.  How can you go wrong?

No, I didn't really need to sweeten the ricotta.  The extra butter on the crust, the chocolate syrup, as well as the powdered sugar was more than enough to give me a sugar rush.
