July 29-30 2010 Kneading Conference and Artisan Bread Fair July 31, 2010.   We are going again for sure.  Lots of portable WFO's and great food and Artisan bread baking workshops.  Don't miss it.  Check out last year's pictures on their website: http://www.kneadingconference.com/  or go to mine at: http://mywoodoven.ning.com/photo/album/listForOwner?screenName=3siue441avusg

Is it always in Maine?  I'd love to go, but it's a hike.

I guess it would be always in Maine.  It is run by the local conservation district to promote local farmers, grains, millers,WFO, and bakers.  It has become an international event to some extent.  I would say that other local agricultural districts could replicate it on their own turf as a boost to agribusiness and possible agritourism expansion.
