Thunderbird ARM-02 Mixer - Spares....?????
« on: December 09, 2009, 07:38:13 PM »
I have just bought a second hand Thunderbird ARM-02 mixer.

It needs some fine tuning which I am busy doing ... but it came without a beater and dough hook.

I have just priced these items locally and was quoted $285 (without postage) each. That seems quite expensive to me so I was wondering if it is possible to buy a "generic" dough hook. It is only for making pizza dough at home for use in the WFO so it seems a lot to pay for something that will only be used occasionally.

Hopefully someone can advise me of a cheaper alternative!!!

TIA

Bought 1 beater and 1 dough hook (Hobart 20 QT) brand new on eBay for $142 (AUD) delivered to the door!!!

They look like they will fit, but if not I will get my engineering friend to make some mods on them....
