Stuffed Grape Leaves (Dolmades)
« on: April 01, 2010, 09:40:47 PM »
These stuffed grapes leaves with stuffing are great in my opinion.  I  like to make these with lemon, fresh or packed grape leaves, hamburg, rice, fresh mint, fresh parsley, onion, salt, fresh ground black pepper, and chicken stock.
The stuffed grape leaves are also good the next day cold with olive oil drizzled over them.

Ohhh,,, I love those things!!!! trin drool!
It's an Earth food. They are called Swedish meatballs. It's a strange thing, but every sentient race has its own version of these Swedish meatballs! I suspect it's one of those great universal mysteries which will either never be explained, or which would drive you mad if you ever learned the truth.

Gimme a pile with some garlic yogurt sauce. A friend of mine was married to a Lebanese guy and made piles of those made with lamb and would bring them to work at the hospital......YUM.
