Hey SoCal peeps, I was wondering....
« on: April 23, 2015, 10:37:28 PM »
Has anyone had the Focaccia di Recco at Spacca? I have to admit, the entree prices at this place are eye watering, but I'm so intrigued by the Focaccia di Recco that I just might bite the bullet just to try it. I'll be in OC for a couple of days and then spend the last two in LA, don't want to waste the dinner opportunity, or the ducats, if it's nothing special.

Thanks for any info,

I didn't have the focaccia, but the food there is "all that and a bag of chips".  The  proteins  there are all spectacular.   Are you celebrating a "decade" anniversary or something?  I think the $200 steak must include an introduction to the President or something

The same quality proteins and indeed all the ingredients are used at Pizzeria Mozza next door.  Their pizza isn't my favorite, but I'd hop in my car anytime to get their caprese salad with burrata and bread.  Everything about it wrinkles my brain.
Things have never been more like today than they are right now.
