Man, I sure do like those thin tortillas you used!   :chef:
I wish i could take credit, but this heated press really makes it easy to press them out thin. Even thinner if i sandwich two 20g pucks with some veg oil inbetween.

Carne Guisada.

Had to look that up. So, beef stew on a taco.

Carne Guisada.

There's a small chain of taco places in LA called Guisados that's insanely good.  They make their tortillas on site from corn.
Things have never been more like today than they are right now.

Sounds like crap when you say it.

How it tastes is all that matters.

Sometimes a thick, crunchy, tender, intensely corny tortilla wins the day.

Nice!  I've never had that before.  I am a friend with fungus though so would love to try it someday!

Somewhat off topic, but its related to block cheese i like to dice up for my taco's. I sent my wife out to grab a few things at the grocery. One of them items was Kraft cheddar and monterey block cheese. I like it for its soft and creamy texture which you dont really find with cheddar cheese. Anyway, She went to 3 local grocery stores, all of which sell Kraft shredded cheese, NONE of them had ANY Kraft block cheese.
Anyone know if Kraft/Heinz once again discontinued a favorite product of mine?

I mean this in the best sense possible: that looks very close to an excellent pot pie.

Hanglow

Fusion taco. Yesterday's leftover greek and tikka kebabs chopped and reheated with some salsa, topped with hot sauce and tzatziki. Can recommend

Basically swapping out the naan with a tortilla.

Is there any culture that doesn't have a flat bread they roll around a filling of some sort?

None that I care about.

I agree. If naan/flat bread was something i could buy fresh baked daily, i would never buy rolls. I would make every sandwich out of naan/flat bread.

Had to make some chicken empanada's and Fried dough with cheese. These will be on the menu in the future.

Empanadas deserve their own thread.
