I didn't take a picture but I put some of the chili and cheese into a flour tortilla.   Was a good lunch

I was going to ask about that. Except for maybe the amounts, this chili isn't radically different from what I do when I make taco meat.  I keep telling myself it's a chili dog, but my mind is telling me it's a taco meat dog.  Still good, just sayin'.  Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I also added.....just a touch.....of 5 spice and cinnamon, to give that Cincinnati deal and a bottle of Heinz Chili Sauce, as it's in maybe 75% of chili/coney dog recipes out there and gives that tang that was missing. Just the frosting on the cake shall we say!

Just noticed the Homage for Nick57. I'm guessing Pete added it. Great recipe if you can follow it it correctly. YES, it calls for a lot of Cumin. That how its supposed to be. :chef:

Chili dog for lunch today.  I like this place because they heat more chili than needed for the chili dog and give you the rest in a bowl with cheese and sour cream.  Pretty good!

Made some of Nick's chili last night for chili dogs for lunch today. Pretty good!

//edit, I forgot that I put mustard on one and not the other for the purposes of comparison. I ate them both and didn't even think about it until I came to post this. I have no idea which one I liked better  :-D

I was craving a chili dog so I made a tiny batch of chili loosely based off Nick's recipe.   Whenever I think about chili dogs I think about Nick.

(I didn't get a picture but it did happen  :P )
