my d recently moved to Williamsburg, stopped by l'industrie for the first time since the tour, wow, what a difference! fabulous bake, would have easily pushed into top 5, possibly best of tour. i may be off but the bake and ratios reminded me of a modern new park, would be interesting to compare.

Everything I see about them online points this tour visit being before he figured out what he wanted/was able to do. Sounds like a different place now.

I really want to return to get back here and try Scarr's.

Is that a drizzle of olive oil over the slice that caused the yellow stain on the plate? Somehow I've never tried doing that.

yes, it was. I always drizzle some evoo on my ny pies

There is nothing in NYC or surrounding that compares for rounds (I still haven't had a chance to try the squares).   For sure when you did the tour he was not ready for you. Now the copies will ensue (which is a good thing).
