I wanted to do a dessert pizza, but am not a fan of Nutella. I had been doing a grilled peach dessert that inspired the following...

Pre bake-
Base: Mascarpone cheese sweetened with powdered sugar and a bit of vanilla. Softened in the microwave for easier spreading. Spread evenly, then dollop some in spots (I like a lot)

Raspberries, Blackberries, and Dried figs.
On some I added fig jam or chile fig jam (my fav)

Post bake-
Crushed pistachios
Either: Honey or Mike's hot honey drizzled

Non-functional garnish (lol)-
Mint

Guests loved 'em. My personal favs had both the chile fig jam and the hot honey. The sweet and spicy combo.

Sounds delicious! I agree with you about Nutella...it's kind of ruined the concept of dessert pizza. It's just not that good.

Made this last night and all I can say is WOW what a pie. Sure to become a staple in our pizza making from now on.
Chris - Always make time to ride the Harley and make pizza!

This looks great! I haven't tried baking dessert pizzas as of yet, but I can think of a few ideas.
what about the dough? tweaking the dough itself to be fit for desert might work? I thought of adding butter and maybe some extra sugar/honey.
