2023 Pizza Expo in Las Vegas - Registration Question

I'm headed to the 2023 Pizza Expo in Vegas. Registration is $230. The SIAL America show is next door to the Pizza Expo and runs for the same three days, March 28th-30th.

Pizza Expo pass will get you into the SIAL show, and the SIAL pass will get you into the Pizza Expo? Pretty cool, huh? 

Here's the question - why in the world would anybody pay $230 to register at the Pizza Expo when they could pay only $100 to register at the SIAL show???

If both passes get you into both shows, is there any advantage to registering at the Pizza Expo?

Even 100$ isn't cheap  when you think you still have to go there and pay for accommodation etc.
So in a nutshell you pay to spend money... IDK, there's just something in this business model that I don't like

Is this like other conventions such as NAB where the floor vendors also have a limited number of passes they can give out? you can contact a floor vendor and get access.

For something like NAB I can get in for free, but I have heard you can get access using that method.
