Did you get the Lloyd version of the LC pan (aka DOUBLE MULTI PAN), or a std. Lloyd design? Just curious...

Sorry for the delay guys, life and events.

I shipped out  a couple boxes of pans to a couple people in here.

I have about 15 pans left from cleaned up to  ones needing carbon off for the top portions of the pan from usage.

I shipped 4 pans from NH to CA for about $31. USPS.

dmaclaren,

Technically, to sell or offer pizza equipment or services to members on the forum, you have to be a Supporting Member, Lifetime Member, or Vendor, and offer the items on the board at https://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php?board=41.0.

Peter - does that apply if someone is not selling for a profit/as a business but rather helping people get a good deal on something?

Craig,

You raise a good point, one that I was expecting and that also crossed my mind. Where it can get tricky is trying to determine when someone is offering goods or services on a profitable basis rather than a non-profitable basis.

I will ask Steve for his advice on matters like this.

Are you making a profit on these pans? If so, then I ask that you become a Supporting Member to help support this site (no such thing as free advertising ya know).  ;)

The first thing I'd look at is how long the seller had been here. For someone like dmaclaren who has been here for 18 years and never sold anything along the way (to my memory), it seemed likely that it wasn't a for-profit venture.

FWIW, I've got 4 pans on the way, and even with shipping, the total was less than the price of one Lloyd Detroit 10X14 pan on Amazon and less than half of what they would have cost on ebay. Hard to imagine he's making much, if any, profit on them.

dmaclaren

No I am not making anything on these pans, I just had the opportunityt o buy a bunch but didn't need that many for myself, I am not a seller at all.

I bought the whole lot from a local guy and only needed 10 and got 40.

I put a 1st pass into the pans to get them cleaner but not proper and with all that, I am flat to some loss

I just know these pans are hard to find and people want them.

Please let me know if what I am doing is still okay or not.  I guess I should have put this in "Pizza Making Equipment"

IMO sounds more like community service.  Praise to you for offering up your extras.  I would have bought at least one if not a couple, but they were all gone before I had a chance to ask.  BTW, it would be cool to see the pizzas those pans were making!
