I have double pans (used) I can get. Any interest in buying some from me?

IMO sounds more like community service.  Praise to you for offering up your extras.  I would have bought at least one if not a couple, but they were all gone before I had a chance to ask.  BTW, it would be cool to see the pizzas those pans were making!

I will for sure grab a pic on the next one.   THis is te latest that I cleaned up.

I received mine many months ago, but am just getting the time now to clean them up.  But, how do you all go about cleaning these?  Soak in solution of lye, or just soak in dish soap and scrub a dub dub?  Bar keeper's friend?  Vinegar? Throw in pizza oven (750-900F?) for 5-10 hours to burn everything off?

I originally thought these were carbon steel and prepped my stuff to do full cleanup like with cast iron but I've never done aluminum... hah whoops. Are these anodized aluminum or just bare aluminum?

Do they really need to be cleaned down to the bare metal? My guess is you'll get the best performance form them with minimal cleaning and the worst with the most.

If they look anything like the one in the first picture, I'd wash with soap and water and that's it.

I'll try washing with soap and water.  Mine are grungier that the first post image.  I want safely clean the pans and not destroy them, since I originally incorrectly thought they were carbon steel.  I've no experience cleaning other types of metal.  The thread linked to by apizza only briefly discusses cleaning and mentioned a metal scraper and some scrubbing.

It would be nice to know how dmaclaren got his to look the way it does in his April 2024 post.  I'm not saying I will do this, I just want to know how to do it.

Thanks for understanding.

Boiling water with oxyclean, if you have a pot big enough.

Hi, I just saw this.   I used Carbon-off on some and I put some in my gas grill for 20 minutes on high and scrapped.

Then I put into grill and when they can out I quickly put Avacado oil on them THIN applied with paper towel
