Using brass brush with Fibrament.

I just purchased a new fibrament stone for my deck oven and their support told me they didn't recommend me using a brash brush on it, because it could damage the surface.  I have a brash brush that I've used on other baking surfaces without issue. Should I get a different brush, is the brass one probably fine?

All you need to do is sweep off the ash. No need for brass. I usually just blow off the ash with a copper pipe.

I thought the brass brush was designed to not harm stone baking surface. Which is why I wanted to ask here. I'm guessing it's something unique to fibrament. I'm going to assume that they know more than I do and look into getting an alternative. I'm thinking something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073TNFTJL/?tag=pmak-20.

oh oh! I have been using brass and fairly firmly. Also when I have had a big mess that didn't totally burn to be able to brush I have even use fine grade sand paper. That is how I cared for my cordierite. Its a type of cement I think. Not sure what damage I have done to it but working great so far. I see brass used on biscotto stones and it is a soft stone.

It is still staining and getting darker but will be less anal about it and will have to try the blow pipe. What diameter do you find works best?

It's 1/2" copper and about 4' long. I literally found it on the ground.
