Ive been reading the great Mlanati Manifesto by @loowaters [1]

For the life of me I can not come up with the same TF Calcs as posted using
https://burner.com/pizza/calc/ or https://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php?topic=39674.0

From the threads, these are are the formulations and my poor attempt at properly calculating the TF. Can someone give me a nudge of guidance on how these are calculated? Im trying to take his 9, 10, or 14 and convert it to a 12 ... I thought I was good at maths and tables ....

Really appreciate it

A thickness factor of .121 would require a 12 oz. dough ball for a 9" deep dish pizza.
---> I get 7.4 oz ball for a 9'' diameter at .121

loowaters uses a 742g dough ball for a round 14 x 2 pan. Does anyone know what size dough ball (or base amount of flour) should be used to make the same pizza in a round 9 x 2 pan?
   > 340g - Learn to use the tool and you can scale to any size.
---> I get a 528g ball for a 14'' at .121

Thickness factor of .125.  My 10" (10x2 straight sides) dough ball weight was based on 248g flour.
---> I get a 278g ball for a 10'' at .125

#3
742g = 26.173 oz

14" pan =  153.93804 sqin

TF = 26.173 / 153.93804 = 0.170

For a 9" pan at that TF, I get 307 g

Your OP has multiple TFs, multiple diameters, etc. What exactly are you trying to do?

I can not match any of his numbers, so Im trying to understand how he calculated ... for example he has a 740g doughball for a 14 that had a .12 TF .. Im just trying to clear my confusion
