Pizzas in the Scranton area
« on: March 18, 2017, 09:42:53 AM »
I recently saw a video on facebook that told about how pizzas started in the Scranton area.  I can't find the recent video right now, but think it said that those kind of “tray pizzas” started in coal fired ovens.

All I can find are these articles and videos.

Scranton was our shopping destination when I was a kid.  Sadly,  the only pizza I remember eating was Pizza Hut in Archbald.  Did you ever go to Sugerman's Eynon Drug?  I bought my first guitar there.  You could buy a piano, underwear, a boat, a telescope, furniture or an AR15.  Long before  anyone heard of Walmart.
