L&B
« on: March 19, 2017, 06:34:55 PM »
I finally ventured to L&B. I had always thought that from seeing photos that the Sicilian looked to bready for my taste. Although it was thick the texture was pretty good though compared to Emmy Squared or Prince Street it was no contest. Their round slice had no crispness at all but I did like the sauce.

Looks like a pretty heavy amount of cheese on the regular slice.

Yes, heavy cheese and the crust was floppy. I thought the square was too light on the cheese.

The only time I had L&B (square) about half the thickness was gummy. Was yours like that too?

That top of the dough was a bit gummy.

I grew up near there. We always called it Spumoni Gardens. We would order from them every so often and I never liked it. For a while I thought I didn't like square pizza in general. I'm glad I got over that!
