Shopping for WFO FGM 950B vs Forno Classico 40
« on: February 11, 2015, 10:13:09 PM »
I plan to take the plunge in the spring for a modular WFO in the 3500 to 5000 dollar range and am leaning towards brick. Anyone with experiences that is willing to share insights on the best made 40 inch ovens I would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance

I too have been looking to purchase a WFO for the cabin we are building in the mountains in Blowiing Rock, North Carolina.  Plan to use it for all outdoor cooking.

I have read up on many of the different brands of WFOs and keep leaning toward the Forno Classico.  It seems equal to or better than others.  AND it is made here in the USA.  I really like the idea of supporting Guiseppe and his staff.  I have traded emails back and forth with them.  They have been very responsive.  The shipping was about where I expected - gulp.

I am still about 6 months out from making a decision so I would love to see other comments here.  I still have time to change my decision, if needed.

ML , I just moved to Chapel Hill  from NJ. I hope to have my mobile here early April or as soon as I can dig it out of 3 ft of snow !  :(
More than welcome to come on by and eat pizza - talk ovens.  I have some good info on most ovens out there
Happy to share and help or we can just grab a coffee.  Notice I didnt say pizza?  nothing I can really swallow down here YET  ;)
