Detroit UK cheese
« on: September 06, 2021, 11:30:14 PM »
Hey guys,

I have a Lloyds pan coming from Amazon USA to UK. Looking forward to trying out Detroit style pizza, never had one. But keep seeing brick cheese mentioned. Can't seem to find this over in the UK? Can anyone recommend me some good suggestions/subs that people use in the UK?

Thanks

Brick isn't widely available in the USA, never had it fresh, only in an awful frozen horrible pizza. Muenster, Cheddar, Monterey Jack, etc. I'm sure others will chime in with other substitutions.

Most here in the USA use a blend of Brick/mozz or cheddar/mozz. You have a good selection of white cheddar there in the UK, so mix that with some low moisture mozz and you'll get a good pizza.
