Nutella pizza
« on: January 29, 2014, 07:19:34 PM »

Here is my Nutella pizza on 70 bread flour/30 whole wheat dough.

I was wondering how to apply the Nutella over the pizza.   I found a video that gave me the idea.

I first shaped my pie, here comes the trick, and put it in the oven at 550 on baking steel with some crushed ice on top to avoid big bubbles and keep the middle down.
Then I removed it after 7 minutes, Wait until cool down and applied the Nutella.  It got a really nice crust

I wish I would have one photo of the whole pie, but I was to slow and the pizza fly.

Picture 1 and 2 is how the pie got out from the oven.

I did not know that Nutella had the ability to defy gravity.  Pretty neat!  :-D

The nutella pie looks good, too.   8)

I suppose it's a matter of preference but most NP restaurants I've seen serving nutella pizzas cook the skin bare, then use the bubble to cut the skin in half laterally, like a pita, then spreading nutella.
