Your pizza has come a long way Norma, thanks for sharing. Don't get me wrong, your pies in that thread looked good, but clearly you have reached another level at this point. Keep up the good work

The dessert pie I posted was a test run for a holiday party where I wanted to bring some dessert pie. I will post a picture of the two pies I brought to the party. Most people liked the pie(at least thats what they said to my face) :-D

Jay,

Your dessert pizzas do look good to me.  :) It looks like you made a cherry dessert pizza, too.

Good eye Norma, it was a cherry pie. I think I liked it more than the apple. It was a nice sweet/tart flavor, Yum.

Found a can of apple filling in the pantry yesterday.  I had no choice but to give this apple pie a try.  I decide to also put a blend of mozz/provolone on the pizza along with the apple filling.   A good swirl of icing and a sprinkle of sea salt.  I thought it was great.

Made this pie yesterday.  It was a big hit.  Going to have to try it with crust only, or maybe a glaze on it.  this crust is great.  A keeper recipe for sure.

One modification I would certainly approve of is of the cheese danish variety.  The fact you added any kind of cheese is a good reminder of how well soft and fresh cheeses go with apples.  I think I might prepare an apple cheese danish pizza (also known as a really large apple cheese danish) within the next couple weeks.
