Moonlight Pizza in Pen Argyl, PA
« on: February 28, 2023, 09:15:35 PM »
In my opinion, this is the most underrated pizza place in existence. They are serving world class pies yet remain unknown by the masses. I keep thinking it's only a matter of time until Dave or someone else shows up and they blow up. It's a husband and wife team and they are really doing it right. It's actually been years since I have been up there but for some reason I have been thinking about their pizza a lot lately. I believe he was baking out of an old school Blodgett and I remember he said he was using room temp fermented dough in higher hydration. Anyway, here's their ig if you want to go check out some beauties and be sure to stop by if you're ever in the area............

I  used to have pizza from Pen Argyl pizza a very small crappy looking place inside on the corner.
Myself I liked the Olive Oil Pizza that they made, not sure if the same people own it or make the pizza anymore.
Butttt I am glad I make my own pizza that cost me less then $1.00 to make with Grande Cheese and Outdoor Blackstone pizza grill.........JT
