what is the best pos system software to use???

Can anyone tell me what the best pos system software to use is?  Trying to update and get away from the whole writing out ticket thing. Need something that will be easy to train employees on. Any ideas are appreciated.

What I recommend you do is to go over to the PMQ Think Tank at http://www.pmq.com/cgi-bin/tt/index.cgi/page/1. You will find a ton of stuff on POS systems and software. If you use the search feature at the Think Tank and search for all these terms "POS system software", or variations thereof, you will find enough to keep you reading for hours. Unfortunately, you will also find a wide range of opinion. But, based on what you know about your own business and what your needs are and how they might differ from others, you may be able to zero in on a POS system for further study. Many of the POS suppliers also have capabilities at their websites for you to check out their systems.
