GIANT CRACK in stone of a woodstone oven
« on: August 02, 2023, 10:39:54 PM »
Hello everyone!
my stores oven has a huge crack in the front which hasn't been a problem till recently. after some repairs i learned this crack happens to be right above the main hearth igniter that heats the stone. as we sweep the oven debris fall down in the crack and cover the igniter. and of course there are other problems all the debris and dust that falls down there eventually starts to clog everything up causing it to get real hot down there thus causing heat damage to some electrical parts..
please i need to figure out how to repair this crack. i was told to look for a stone mason.
anyone have any thoughts, experience and or advice?

thanks!

jaimee

Would think that a call to Woodstone would be the best way to find out.
