Hartstone Baking Stone "made of natural clay materials, oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer-safe.  stick resistant, no seasoning required."    I had not yet found your forum when I purchased it.  The stone info does not state a temperature cap and I'm pretty sure the stones your members use are NOT dishwasher safe.  Anyway, the first  time I used it was in the oven with a disastrous launch so made a mess right off the bat and shelved it.  Got her out yesterday and tried it on the gas grill.  The grill smoked like crazy getting to 500 and my taking too long to prep, it was already black when I opened the grill.  Pie was a bust and this is what the stone looks like today.  Comments appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I would think it will be just fine. Dirty stones bake better than clean ones. Seriously.  Wipe it off with a damp rag and you should be good to go.

Did you ever look at the deck of a commercial pizza oven? Yep, I agree totally with Craig.

What they said above....and make sure NOT to put it in the dishwasher!

Thank you so much for your input.  I really rely on your forum for quality information, new ideas and techniques.  And no, I would never put a stone in the dishwasher.  That option made me worry it was made of dubious materials and not really a quality stone.  Thanks again!
