Worries about scratching oven's stone!!

Hey guys! Hope u allright.

I just got my brand new Ooni Koda 16 

But didnt bought the acessories because here in brazil it's so expansive.

I already got a inox (stainless steel) peel which Im pretending to use in this oven.

But this peel is kinda heavy! Should I be worried about scratching the stone surface while using it? Ill cut the handle to get lighter.

I don't think it will damage the stone in any meaningful way.

I wouldn't think it would be any different that any other peel.

If you are concerned about the weight, cutting the handle off will make the peel-end heavier as then you won't have the handle to add some counter weight.
