Olive Oil Dispenser
« on: August 03, 2022, 07:05:53 PM »
Could someone recommend an olive oil dispenser that only dribbles out the oil - I always end up with too much oil on my pizzas.

I use a little squeeze bottle. Something like these.

I've used them on pizzas with oil, bbq sauce, and maple syrup.  100% stole the idea from Jay (OGwoodfired). Also good if you are stir frying for getting oil down the sides of a wok.

You can take your flow rate into your own hands with these squeeze bottles, as you cut or punch the hole yourself. I use them for dispensing a variety of oils with just a pinhole of an opening. A single drop of oil is 0.04 g in my case.

The yeast flies south in November.

If you're near an Asian market, some soy  sauce dispensers work well.

I had one of those, but alas, it was very fragile and broke when it tipped over. I got this one instead and the glass seems much stronger: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09G9BDPJB/?tag=pmak-20.

I had the same problem. I have an olive oil dispenser by Tuperware. It is good for cooking not for pizza. I got this and I can easily control the flow to the drop. It is stainless steel. Got it from a local shop.

I have several of these OXO dispensers and really like them.

Around the bottle I also add a colored zip tie that I use to id what oil (vegetable, olive, corn, etc) is in the bottle.
