Biscotto stone - will cure stop dusting?
« on: April 25, 2023, 12:59:39 PM »
I recently got a new biscotto stone that has quite a bit of dusting on the surface and this dusting continues.  Will this dust reduce once cured?

Thanks!

That seems like an awfully large imperfection if it wasnt sold as "second sorting", but that's just my opinion. Have you reached out to the seller?

Did you ever get a response? Is it still dusting?

The Biscotto stones in the Arodore kept dusting (even after I used it once).  Yes, although I used it only once, whenever I wiped it with a paper towel, the towel took on the color of the clay stone.

I posted this in the huge Ardore thread, but Simone never responded to it.  Will the dusting eventually stop?  If yes, when?  I don't want to be constantly ingesting clay dust.

I've used the oven a few times and I'm not noticing any dusting on the pizza we are eating.

I'm happy with the results I'm getting and I'm not worried about it anymore :)
