Unusual French Pizza Knife
« on: July 24, 2009, 07:31:21 PM »
As I was conducting a Google search recently on pizza rocker knives, I stumbled across a cutlery website that, among other kinds of knives that the company sells, is a unique knife called a French Pizza Knife. The knife, which is actually made in France, can be seen in its many different flavors at http://www.cutlery2go.com/pizzaknives.html. I thought that the knife would be suitable not only for my own needs but also as a unique gift to give to other pizza lovers. I decided to buy one of the knives, the one called Turquoise. The knife arrived today and is shown in the photos below. As can be seen from the photos, the word "Pizza" is stamped out of the blade so that you can actually see through it. It is quite a cool knife. Because of the depth of the blade, I would think that the knife should work especially well with a deep-dish or pan pizza. Maybe the French would use it with their classic pissaladiere pizza.
