New dough method

It has been a crazy week with putting our shop up for sale and I did a first... Everyday I use my oven, before firing it up, to proof dough.  Well, we were interviewing 2 people as 2 of ours are going back to college out of state, and I turned it on without checking inside.  Judy said what is that smell???  Man, we had a good laugh and the box plastic is intersting stuff. as it is like taffy when hot and when cool it peels right off - had the box on some screens.

When you made the decision to sell somewhere deep in your brain you start to check out of the business. At least I recall that happening to me. It was a subtle shift which I didn't realize until later on. Some people slide easily into retirement and others have a bumpy ride.

Hopefully you don't burn too much plastic. 👍

I hear you. It is unchartered waters for us but we are ready to give it a shot.  It is a bit overwhelming at the moment with so many enquires and correspondences since we posted the sale.  I will try not to wreck any more stuff at the shop  :-D

BTW, my wife saw your FB post, said we should move to Reno. I guess she's done with Pickerington

It was a bit over proofed  :-D  You should come out.  No humidity, no mosquitos, year round sun, mild winters, tons of nature with the Sierra Mts and Lake Tahoe.  Our street dead ends to the desert.  I walk for hours and see no one, yet we are only 15 minutes from the shop and downtown.
