Any non-commercial shop owners NOT use social media for advertising/promoting, and yet still survive comfortably?

I love how zero replies are on this post. I think it just goes to show that if you are on the internet (pizzamaking.com) you have no excuse not to be on social to promote your biz. I think that those old school pizzerias who have been around for ages are the ones who can get away with having a low social presence, but I'd be interested to see how that continues to play out long term.
