I had to use several images to get all the data I needed to make this tool.  I will post what I was able to collect.  I have asked Craig for more precision in the table data, but he has not responded.

I have added a Celsius display of the temperature.  For some reason, in the web version, the 'C' for Celsius gets cut off on the right.

Here is the table that I used for the tool.

I have added the sourdough fermentation model to the tool and fixed the Celsius display.

Really appreciate this, find it immensely useful as I'm still experimenting quite a bit.

Is the app version still going ahead and would it be possible to add Celsius?

If I do this, would you rather pay 99 cents or have it ad supported?

Happy with 99 cents or whatever the UK equivalent ends up being. Does the downloadable executable come with the latest changes you have made.

On a side note I don't know why this isn't getting more interest, but thought it would be a fantastic thing to add to the existing calculator that's on the site.

Thanks.

I have not updated the executable since I posted the web version.

I will look into making it an app.

It looks like you have to develop iOS on a Mac, which I do not have, so I cannot develop for iOS.
I also do not have an Android device, so I am out of luck there.

The only way I could justify developing it as an app is to have enough people donate to cover the costs and so far no one has decided to do that.

How much would it cost?

A Macintosh?  A base refurbished Mac mini is about $600 from a quick scan of the Apple site.  I would start there to see if there is enough interest to do an Android version.

Nice work! Really cool how it loads in the browser at first. I don't think I've come across any other Qt web assembly platform apps. Have you done other work in it? Is it kind of a Flash replacement?
I love a bit of glistening char on the crust! I'm using a Roccbox for the most part.

I learned web assembly to get this project web based, so this is the first time I have used it.  From my experience so far, this is a superset of what Flash could do.  I am no expert in Flash, though.  I was able to take a Windows C++ program and retarget it to the web in about a week from having no experience.

Qt, the GUI system I used to develop the app, supports web assembly.  Together, they are very powerful.

Are you open to sharing the data tables, source or other logic? I think this is great work and have no issue donating - but hate to come to rely on things that are hosted one day and could be gone the next!

I had just finished TXCraig1's thread and set out to build a similar interface to the data. I have moved away from MS Windows to the Mac OS platform and as such left behind .NET and my familiar dev tools.

My approach was going to be MUCH simpler - a simple code behind app in google sheets so that no hosting, cross platform dev, or app dependency would need to be done.

I do not feel comfortable sharing Craig’s data.

Fair enough - I can work from the data points and multiple stage ferment explanation posted to the main thread, As I assume other's such as yourself have done.  I had simply hoped to save a bit of time recreating the data and fitting it to an equation and/or logic.

Send Craig a private message explaining what you want to do as ask him if he minds sharing.  If I remember correctly he has already provided the formula somewhere on here years ago. I just don't know exactly what thread it's under.

I found this, but I do not know who posted it.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yOLUHuvG4jionoQ7fP0f-uDO7JrXRwcf0DR7nBss2Pw/edit#gid=0

The numbers for sourdough starter do not match what I have, so they are suspect.

Thanks for the responses - I had already gone ahead and transcribed the data from the JPG files and have already added the code to dynamically fit trendline equations to the rows as needed. So far, so good - if I don't get sidetracked, I should be done shortly with the sheets app.
