when we were making maple syrup we were frustrated with how little we could store in our freezer until we discovered square shaped pails
It was quite a surprise how much more we could get in the freezer with these.

I got one set of each of these 2-3 months ago. Good for 1-5 (close to 6) lbs. it's so much better having small amounts of several things well organized.

If you're looking for 50/55lb bag storage, I use these.


That's a hell of a lot of flour!! I just hope that it doesn't go bad before it's all used up!!

Have had no issues.   Bread uses a lot.

Last year I found out that walmart carries food-grade buckets for super cheap, with lid under $5.  They are actually decent quality, made in USA.  These *might* be it:

I don't know whether gamma lids would work on these, but if you go through flour quickly, these would be a great, cheap solution.  They are also an excellent alternate to HD/Lowes buckets for tomatoes.
