As a potential customer there is not much that excites me about this. From the company’s point of view, I think if they can generate add-on or impulse sales by carrying a few tempting items it coud be a big winner for them.

Nuro needs to cut a deal with Boston Robotics for a robot to be on the delivery vehicle. Rather than the customer going out to the curb and entering a PIN number to retrieve their pizza, the customer can give Dominos a PIN number to open their front door. The robot can bring your pizza straight to where you are sitting on the couch binge-watching a true-crime documentary. The mind boggles with additional services the robot could perform while in your home:

Taking away old pizza boxes and empty beer cans.
Cleaning food stains on the couch and carpet.
Spraying room freshener.
Filing your income tax returns.
