steak

Anyone had any good success with steak as a topping? I've seen "philly steak" pies which I find vaguely upsetting as a philly area native but I've been playing with the idea of some steak on top of a few pies lately. So I'm curious - what do people do? My thought was very thin slice with a bit of a sugary marinade and to let it cook and brown on top of the pie. But maybe it's better to pre-cook, or add it after the pie comes out. Anyway. Let me know what's worked for you!  :pizza:

I'm a fan of lamb loin carpaccio, Kalamata olives and feta.

This remains one of my favorite pizzas:

Looks tasty! I shouldn't have maligned the cheese steak pie in my OP, and I'm always down for a nicely fried skillet crust. I think searing the whole steak then cutting small might work well for what I have in mind.
