Trying to replicate chain/Dominos style because why not.
Thick and heavy, cheesy, heavily seasoned sauce, garlic butter coated crust, stretched in cornmeal, and made with a sugary short rise dough.

I have a question. Are you thinking about selling a Dominos style pizza in your restaurant, or do you just want to make some to eat at home?

I might have it as a special on occasion. The pizzeria will be mostly NY style and tavern style with specials for all sorts of other styles.

I think that's a great idea. Of course, you won't be able to use any brand names, but you can use a very long verbal description to get across the brand of chain pizza you are replicating.

For instance, if you wanted to replicate Shakey's thin crust, which still has a lot of fans in the Washington, DC area, you would call it "Original 1950's California thin crust style."

Of course! And honestly, I'll probably do more of a generic chain style pizza rather than focusing on one specific pizza chain like I did here. I have no use on the menu for cornmeal.
