Title: N.Y. Style onion rolls
Post by: GumbaWill on July 16, 2019, 11:55:41 AM
Whats on your dinner menu? At casa Falzon, we are having Mississippi chicken with home made N.Y. style onion rolls. Mostly all done, quick as a jiffy!

Reminds me of Turkey BBQ. Its a PA dutch thing. No red sauce, just concentrated Turkey drippings/juices.

The chicken recipe is weak.  Norm's onion rolls are solid.

Hi, John.
I agree Norm's roll dough is very versatility, quick and easy to make. All reasons why it will get a lot of use around here. The Mississippi chicken while it's nothing fancy makes for an easy to whip together weeknight dinner/summer lunch. I find the flavor to be anything but weak. Yummy!

That recipe lost me at the ranch dressing packet mix. I might try using French onion soup packet mix instead.
