Dough rounder/divider
« on: February 08, 2006, 08:27:55 PM »
Does anybody use these?  Are they worth the few grand to buy one?  I was thinking about getting one for the shop so we dont have to waste time rounding the dough and dividing it, but one thing I was thinking of is when we do mediums and smalls and boli's we only make 1 size of dough, large and just cut some off.   Could these be salvaged?  I realize dough is not the most expensive thing to make, but it could save us some time.  Also, do these divide the dough by weight?

 Hi,
Although i do not own a pizza shop so i am not aware of how labor intensive dough rounding can be. At $14,500, this is just too expensive for a single shop. I also noticed that the machine only rounds between 4-11oz dough balls?? You would be lucky to get a calzone out of that size dough ball? It is just not big enough.   Chiguy
