I believe they will be available some time this year.

Will Minimix have a removable bowl? Anything with Sunmix have that?

The bowl is not removable on the Sunmix or Minimix.  It takes 5 minutes to clean either one.  It's really that easy!!!!!  I owned the Famag with the removable bowl and still have both the Sunmix and Minimx and they take the exact amount of time to clean.  To me, it's one less thing that can break or go wrong over time and from my understanding and limited conversations with them they have no desire to add that as a feature.

I respect you highly, but I have the opposite opinion.  Yeah, its not that hard to clean a stationary spiral.  I also had one of each, one countertop spiral with and one countertop spiral without the removable bowl.  I sold the one I had that did not have a removable bowl!  They both made great dough, but for me the convenience wins out. I may be lazier than you Bill!

I also like being able to remove the bowl and plop it on a scale to measure various ingredients going in the mix rather than having to put them in another container first.

This is all minor stuff I know, but ill keep the famag thank you!   The only reason I would go with non removable is if the mixer produced a noticeably better dough.

I agree. Although the Sunmix may be marginally better than the Famag, ultimately I wanted the removable bowl. I wouldn't trade it...

Someone on here did!  was a thing of beauty.  I will say though, that I had 2 opportunities to use diving arm mixers.  One was the Cadillac, a pietroberto at a place I was consulting to help them improve their pizza, and another one at a bakery that let me use it a few times to see if I wanted to buy one.  The dough was great, but it didnt seem any better than a fork mixer or even a good spiral.

Andrew Bellucci had a diving arm mixer at his first shop. I don't know if he still uses one at the new place?

I was also looking for a mixer recommendation if anyone can help. I was choosing between the Sunmix 10 Pro or Famag IM5 or IM8. My use case would be at home use and transition into a pizza pop up restaurant. My biggest concern is NSF requirements which I'm not familiar with yet. Also if anyone has any oven recommendations for the same use let me know.

Looking into the NSF requirements in your area would be a good idea. This came up in this thread about Las Vegas and Famag ratings.

He was back to a Hobart planetary at new location last time we spoke.  I hear the pizza there is even better now from friends.

I'm ordered a Vevor spiral on the cheap; it'll be here around Tuesday. 7.3 qt mixing bowl, 80lbs, .25kg minimum flour, $475 new.

You can't beat that price for a spiral! Rumble, something to consider when using this mixer is that its minimum speed is fast for a spiral of this size, so your mixes are going to be short.  I don't think you will need anything but the slowest speed unless your doing really high hydrations.  Two things you might want to try are to keep your doughs on the wetter side, and to employ an autolyse to allow the flour some time to hydrate before your final mixing.
