Pasta Board for stretching
« on: January 26, 2023, 07:09:49 PM »
Ok members, I ended up purchasing the pasta board in the hope I could stretch better.

Unfortunately what I found was that the rough wooden surface is too grippy, and a pizza base doesn’t slide on it. Sadly I may have made a mistake on this. Does anyone know if there is there a treatment I can apply to smoothen out the surface?

You could always try to sand it with some very fine sandpaper -  say 220 or 320 grit.

I think the more you use it the better it will get. Don't wash it.
